Seresto treats and prevents infestation by fleas for 7 to 8 months. It has an acaricidal (killer) efficacy against tick infestations for 8 months. It is effective against adult larvae, nymphs and ticks. Protects the animal's surrounding environment against the development of flea larvae for 8 months.
Ticks already present on the cat before treatment may not die within 48 hours after the collar has been placed and may remain fixed and visible. Preferably, the collar should be placed before the start of the flea or tick season.
Seresto can be used as part of a treatment strategy for the control of Allergic Dermatitis to Flea Bite.
How to use:
There should be 1 collar per cat.
Remove the collar from the sachet, unwind it and check for any traces of seized plastic.
Adjust the collar around the cat's neck without over-tightening (enough clearance should be left so that two fingers fit between the neck and the collar).
The collar should be worn continuously during the 8-month protection period and should be removed after the treatment period. Check periodically and adjust if necessary.
